Description

An unauthenticated network attacker can send a WireFormatInfo frame with a very large size value. The broker does not validate it and tries to allocate the memory during pre-authentication negotiation, which can run it out of memory and crash it. Apache rates the issue important; the 7.5 score on NVD is from CISA-ADP.
