OperationsWho Supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Valkey and RabbitMQ Under One Contract?
The short answer
Few vendors cover all five of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Valkey or Redis, and RabbitMQ. Perforce OpenLogic lists all of them for technical support. OSSeva covers all of them, plus Kafka, MongoDB, ZooKeeper and the Erlang/OTP runtime, with patched builds for end-of-life lines. Percona covers the four databases but not RabbitMQ. Broadcom's TrueSource Data Services, announced in August 2026, covers PostgreSQL, MySQL, Valkey and RabbitMQ. Aiven and NetApp Instaclustr are mainly managed platforms, and Canonical's Ubuntu Pro patches the database packages that ship in the Ubuntu archive.
The useful question is not "who covers the most logos" but three narrower ones: does the vendor cover your exact versions, does it ship fixes or only advice, and does it support software you run or only software it runs for you.
Providers compared
Each row reflects what the provider publishes on its own site as of 7 October 2026.
| Provider | Engines listed | Model | End-of-life versions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Percona | MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, Valkey/Redis | Support for self-managed databases on premises, in the cloud and on Kubernetes; its own open source distributions | Paid post-EOL support for Percona Server for MySQL 8.0, up to three years after April 2026 |
| Broadcom TrueSource Data Services | PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, MySQL, Valkey | A validated distribution with extensions, Operators and Helm Charts, plus support and deployment automation | Not described in the announcement |

The providers one by one
Percona
Percona's support page lists MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB and Valkey/Redis under one contract, with Advanced and Premium tiers and 24x7 incident response. Percona also builds its own open source distributions, including Percona Server for MySQL and Percona Distribution for PostgreSQL. For MySQL 8.0 after end of life it sells up to three years of post-EOL support for Percona Server for MySQL 8.0. RabbitMQ and Kafka are not on its support list. OSSeva vs Percona compares the two in detail.
Broadcom TrueSource Data Services
Broadcom announced TrueSource at VMware Explore on 31 August 2026. Its data tier, TrueSource Data Services, provides trusted artifacts, support and deployment expertise for PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, MySQL and Valkey, curated as a validated distribution with the associated extensions, Operators and Helm Charts, and adds deployment automation and visibility into security posture. The announcement does not list MariaDB or say how end-of-life versions are handled, so ask about both. Teams already using Broadcom's Tanzu or Bitnami offerings will find it the most natural fit.
NetApp Instaclustr
Instaclustr runs PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Kafka, OpenSearch, ClickHouse and Cadence as a managed platform and sells support for some self-managed clusters. MySQL, MariaDB and RabbitMQ are not on its support page. It is a strong choice if you want Cassandra or Kafka run for you. OSSeva vs Instaclustr covers its lifecycle states.
Aiven
Aiven runs PostgreSQL, MySQL, Valkey, Kafka, OpenSearch, ClickHouse and Grafana as managed services on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure and other clouds, including inside your own cloud account. It is a platform rather than a support contract for servers you run, and MariaDB and RabbitMQ are not in its service list.
Canonical Ubuntu Pro
Ubuntu Pro extends security maintenance to the whole Ubuntu archive, Main and Universe, for 10 years, or 15 with the Legacy add-on. Its page names PostgreSQL, Redis, Valkey, Kafka and MongoDB among the covered applications. The coverage follows the package versions Ubuntu ships for each release, so it suits servers that run the distribution's own packages. Ticket and phone support is a separate "Ubuntu Pro + Support" tier.
Perforce OpenLogic
OpenLogic's supported technology list includes PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis, Valkey, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Kafka and OpenSearch at Gold, Silver and Bronze levels. Its long-term support programme covers MySQL 5.7 and 8.0 through at least September 2028. It is the broadest list here for technical support across engines. OSSeva vs OpenLogic compares the end-of-life coverage.
OSSeva
OSSeva covers PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis and Valkey, RabbitMQ with the Erlang/OTP runtime under it, Kafka and MongoDB under one contract, one renewal date and one escalation path. It ships patched, signed builds for end-of-life lines, so you can move support without upgrading first, and it runs where you run: bare metal, VMs, any Kubernetes or any cloud account. OSSeva Operate adds 24/7 operations, a 15-minute P1 response and patches Critical CVEs (CVSS 9.0 and above) within 48 hours and High within 7 days. Pricing is per cluster. OSSeva does not run a managed database platform; if you want the vendor to host the database, Aiven or Instaclustr fit better.
How to choose
| Situation | Usual answer |
|---|---|
| You want the vendor to host and run the databases | Aiven or Instaclustr, or your cloud provider's managed services |
| Mostly MySQL and MariaDB, and you like Percona's distributions and tooling | Percona |
| Already on Broadcom's Tanzu or Bitnami offerings | Evaluate TrueSource Data Services, and ask about end-of-life versions |
| Servers run Ubuntu's own database packages | Ubuntu Pro, with Pro + Support for tickets |
| A broad mix of open source beyond databases, current versions | OpenLogic |
| Self-managed databases, caches and brokers, some past upstream end of life | OSSeva |
Whichever you shortlist, give each vendor your inventory with exact versions and ask three questions in writing: which of these versions do you ship fixes for, until when, and who applies them. How to consolidate database support contracts covers the rest of the evaluation, and the support cost calculator totals what you spend today.
Frequently asked questions
Who supports PostgreSQL and MySQL under one contract?
Percona, OpenLogic, Broadcom's TrueSource Data Services and OSSeva all list both. Aiven runs both as managed services. Percona and OSSeva also cover MariaDB; OpenLogic lists it as well.
Who supports RabbitMQ alongside databases?
OpenLogic, Broadcom TrueSource Data Services and OSSeva. Percona, Instaclustr and Aiven do not list RabbitMQ. OSSeva also covers the Erlang/OTP runtime RabbitMQ runs on, at no additional cost with RabbitMQ.
Does any vendor support Valkey commercially?
Yes. Percona, OpenLogic, Aiven, Broadcom TrueSource Data Services, Canonical through Ubuntu Pro and OSSeva all name Valkey. Cloud providers run it as a managed cache too.
Which vendors ship patched builds for end-of-life database versions?
Among the providers here, OpenLogic for MySQL 5.7 and 8.0, Percona for Percona Server for MySQL 8.0, Canonical for the versions in Ubuntu's archive, and OSSeva across PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, MongoDB and Kafka.
Is a managed service the same as a support contract?
No. A managed service runs the database for you on its platform and its version calendar. A support contract covers software you run on your own infrastructure. Some teams need both, for different workloads.
